Grace Walkers,
I just wanted to say thank you for your testimony and witness for Christ. Thank you for clinging to grace and relying soley on Christ for everything!
I came across another grace forum the other day that turned out to be nothing of grace. I got into a big discussion with many of the members there that were actually attacking Grace Walk ministries (this very ministry) on a thread. So being the stuborn headed person I am I signed in and started up conversation
Through all that I realized how blessed I truly am to have a place like this to go. With like minded believers who understand that our work is to rest in what Christ has done. Not try to work and slave.
Again Thank you!! |

| we are here for you. to lift you up so you can look in the face of the only one who can do anything for your heart and mind. We are here to prove nothing of ourselves, and nothing else but that his Grace is sufficient. |

Freeforever--
I'm sorry you had a not-so-good experience at that other forum. I, too, had a rather unpleasant experience (on a prophecy forum), and I admit to handling it very poorly.
I don't blame the other person for attacking me, but I do wish he had asked questions first and then made a decision about what I was saying. Instead, he accused me of teaching false doctrine, and THEN he wanted to know what I was talking about. Well, by that point, I was on the defensive and all in all, I made quite a mess of the whole affair.
I say that to shout to the world that Christ is still working on me (no duh!) and to sympathize with you (although you probably handled yourself so much better than I did).
I'm learning that this grace message is a tricky message to get out--and it's all God: 1) People have to be ready to hear it (usually they have to hit rock bottom or they have to be sick to death of legalism), and 2) God has to teach it to them! Oh, He can and does use as mouth pieces, but you know what I mean, right?
Frustrating, isn't it? We have an absolutely amazing message, and many times we offend the very ones who need to hear it most! Maybe that's a good thing. Maybe it keeps us from shouting the message in our own strength!
Grace grace grace and all grace to you, my friend!

very true Laura. Only the humble and broken can receive grace. I had to be made both of those before I ever understood. The zealous religous doer cannot receive grace. its a hit to their religous pride. I guess I realized something through this other forum...The people under the most bondage in all the world are the relgious who claim the name "Christian." They are so warped in their doctrine and they do not even realize it. I would love to speak truth to help set the free (which I did) but they only rejected it. How sad it is....But that's not my place to convict. God waters the seed.
In Grace we remain forever!! |
